1. PURPOSE
This System Fairness Policy (the "Policy") governs the use of the GrowBit online gaming platform available at https://growbit.net/ as the primary domain, together with its official mirror domains, and any related or connected services (collectively, the "Website" or the "Service").
The Website is operated by 0-000-000000 Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, CIN 0-000-000000, with its registered office at Calle 4, Paso de la Vaca, San José, Costa Rica (the "Company", "GrowBit", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Website.
GrowBit Original games offered on the Website use a cryptographic "provably fair" system designed to generate fair and verifiable outcomes. These outcomes cannot be manipulated by either the Company or the Player. The cryptographic system relies on mathematical proofs and verifiable algorithms to ensure fairness in every individual game round.
The fairness of third-party casino games available on the Website is governed and ensured by independent third-party game developers and software providers. These games operate using Random Number Generator (RNG) systems that may be independently tested and certified by accredited testing laboratories. Game outcomes are generated solely by the game provider’s RNG systems and cannot be influenced, predicted, or altered by either the Player or the Company.
This Policy is developed in accordance with applicable Costa Rican legal requirements, internationally recognized best practices, and generally accepted standards of gambling integrity, transparency, and fairness.
GrowBit is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ubisoft or Growtopia, or by any of their respective owners, publishers, developers, affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, or representatives. References to Growtopia, World Locks, Diamond Locks, Blue Gem Locks, or DLS are used solely to identify supported virtual items, virtual currencies, or user-facing gameplay integrations.
2. SCOPE
2.1. This Policy applies to:
2.1.1. All gambling games and services offered by the Company;
2.1.2. Game logic, algorithms, random number generation mechanisms, cryptographic fairness systems, and system configurations;
2.1.3. Bonuses, promotions, races, rewards, rakeback, loyalty mechanisms, and similar features insofar as they interact with game outcomes, wager settlement, or payout calculations;
2.1.4. Third-party game and platform providers integrated into the Website;
2.1.5. GrowBit Original games, including any internal games developed, operated, or offered directly by the Company; and
2.1.6. Gameplay involving supported balances, including Growtopia-related Diamond Locks (DLS), supported cryptocurrencies, and any other supported balance types made available by the Company.
3. FAIRNESS PRINCIPLES
The Company adheres to the following core fairness principles:
3.1. Randomness
GrowBit Original game results are determined using cryptographically secure and statistically random processes. GrowBit Original games use cryptographic hashing mechanisms, while third-party casino games rely on RNG methodologies supplied by their respective game providers to ensure unpredictable and unbiased outcomes.
3.2. Transparency
Game rules, betting mechanics, probabilities, RTP indicators, payout mechanics, and applicable restrictions are clearly disclosed where applicable. Players are able to independently verify game outcomes and fairness parameters for GrowBit Original games where such verification is supported.
3.3. Consistency
Games operate strictly in accordance with their published rules and configurations as described on the Website.
3.4. Accuracy
Odds, balances, wagers, wins, losses, rewards, and payouts are calculated accurately and consistently.
3.5. Non-Manipulation
Game systems, algorithms, and established parameters are not altered to the detriment of Players.
4. PROVABLY FAIR FORMULA
4.1.
GrowBit Original games apply the following provably fair principle:
fair result = casino/server input + player/client inputor, where applicable:
fair result = server seed + client seed + nonceThe server seed or server input is cryptographically committed to before the relevant game outcome is generated, by publishing a hash of the server seed before gameplay. After the seed is revealed, the Player may verify that the outcome was generated from the committed data and was not changed after the bet was placed.
A commitment of this kind establishes that the server seed was not substituted after the fact. It does not, on its own, establish how that seed was selected before it was committed. The controls that address selection are set out in section 4.4.
4.2.
Third-party casino games available on the Website use proprietary mathematical formulas, RNG systems, and game logic supplied by their respective third-party providers.
The Company does not control, alter, manually influence, predict, or manipulate the underlying RNG outcomes of third-party games.
4.3.
Where a GrowBit Original derives outcomes from a per-Player seed chain, the
server seed is committed by publishing its SHA-256 hash and is revealed when
that seed generation is retired. The Player controls retirement: the "Rotate
and reveal" control retires the current generation, discloses its server seed
in full, and immediately commits a replacement. Rotation is refused while the
Player has an unfinished round on the same game, because that round's outcome
still depends on the committed seed.
Every retired generation is preserved in an append-only record, so a bet placed
on an earlier generation remains verifiable regardless of how many later
rotations occur.
Where a GrowBit Original instead derives outcomes from a per-round or
per-battle seed, that seed is revealed automatically when the round or battle
concludes, and no Player action is required.
The specific derivation applied by each GrowBit Original, together with
standalone verification tools, is published on the Provably Fair Implementation
page, which is linked from the Fairness page. Those pages are explanatory and do
not vary this Policy; in the event of inconsistency, this Policy governs.
Third-party casino games are outside this mechanism, as set out in section 4.2.
4.4.
GrowBit Originals separate the selection of the server seed from the selection
of the player input, in that order, so that the Company cannot select a server
seed with knowledge of the player input it will be combined with.
4.4.1. Where a GrowBit Original uses a per-Player seed chain, the server seed
is generated and its hash published at a time when no client seed exists. The
client seed is supplied subsequently by the Player, generated by default in the
Player's own browser using the platform cryptographic random number generator,
and is bound to the specific commitment displayed to the Player.
4.4.2. A client seed submitted in respect of a game for which no commitment has
been published is refused. The commitment is in every case a separate and
earlier event, and is not created in response to a client seed already received.
4.4.3. A bet placed against a seed generation to which no client seed has been
bound is refused, and is not assigned a client seed automatically.
4.4.4. Seed generations created before the controls in this section were
introduced remain fully verifiable. Each affected bet identifies the arrangement
under which it settled, and such bets are not represented as having been settled
under the controls in this section.
4.4.5. Where a GrowBit Original uses a shared per-round seed, the round is
committed before the betting phase opens, and the outcome is derived only once
the betting phase closes, from Player-supplied values submitted with each bet
during that phase. Each such value is broadcast to all connected clients and
remains available after the round, so that the derived input may be
independently recomputed from the bets placed.
4.4.6. The Company does not represent that the controls in this section
eliminate every means of influencing an outcome. Any residual limitation is
disclosed on the Provably Fair Implementation page.
4.5.
Outcome derivations for GrowBit Originals are versioned. Where a derivation is
changed, the previous version is retained without alteration, and the version
applicable to each bet is recorded on that bet at the time of settlement.
A settled bet continues to be verifiable using the derivation and the
configuration that produced it. Historical results are not recomputed,
reinterpreted, or restated under a later version.
4.6.
Where a commitment is issued, the Company also issues a detached cryptographic
signature over that commitment and the record to which it relates (a
"commitment receipt"). A commitment receipt may be verified by any person
against a public key published by the Company without authentication.
A valid commitment receipt establishes that the Company issued the commitment in
question. It does not establish the time at which the commitment was issued,
that time being an assertion of the Company, and this Policy makes no
representation to the contrary.
5. GAME FAIRNESS CONTROLS
5.1. Random Number Generation
5.1.1.
RNG-based games on the Website use algorithms intended to be statistically random, unpredictable, and non-repeatable. The Company integrates third-party games supplied by reputable third-party providers whose RNG systems may be independently certified or tested according to their own compliance frameworks.
5.1.2.
RNG-based games are protected against unauthorized access or manipulation through technical, operational, and access-control measures.
5.1.3.
Player inputs, including client seeds, cryptographic hashing mechanisms, provably fair configurations, and game outcomes for GrowBit Original games are logically and technically segregated from ordinary operational systems and are not accessible, viewable, or modifiable by unauthorized personnel during gameplay.
5.1.4.
Access to the configuration, algorithms, and provably fair mechanisms of GrowBit Original games is limited to authorized technical personnel and may not be altered in any manner that could affect game outcomes or player fairness.
5.2. Return to Player (RTP)
5.2.1.
RTP values for games are mathematically calculated and are intended to reflect the configured mathematical model of each game.
5.2.2.
RTP settings are not dynamically adjusted on a player-specific or session-specific basis. In respect of GrowBit Originals, the house edge applied by each game is fixed within that game's outcome logic and is not an administrative setting. No operational interface provides for a per-game, per-Player, or per-session adjustment of the house edge.
Monetary limits capable of restricting a payout, including any maximum single-win limit, are configuration values and not outcome parameters. They do not affect which outcome occurs. Each version of that configuration is retained in an append-only record, and the version in force is recorded on each bet at settlement, so that a payout restricted by such a limit remains capable of verification against the configuration that applied to it.
5.2.3.
Any changes to RTP values or game mathematical configurations are subject to internal review and change management procedures.
5.2.4.
Published RTP values are theoretical long-term values and do not guarantee any particular short-term result, outcome, win, loss, or return for an individual Player.
6. TRANSPARENCY TO PLAYERS
6.1.
The Company ensures that Players are provided with clear and accurate information, including where applicable:
- Game rules and instructions published on the Website;
- Odds, payout structures, multipliers, and wagering requirements;
- Applicable limits, caps, maximum wins, or restrictions;
- Bonus terms and conditions;
- RTP indicators where displayed;
- Provably fair verification data for GrowBit Original games where supported.
6.2.
All information is presented in clear, understandable language and is not intended to be misleading or deceptive.
6.3.
GrowBit Original game outcomes can be independently verified by Players after gameplay where provably fair verification is supported.
Players may verify calculations using built-in tools on the Website or compatible third-party/open-source verification tools.
7. FAIRNESS VERIFICATION TOOLS
7.1.
The Company publishes standalone verification scripts enabling Players and any other person to verify the outcomes of GrowBit Original games independently. Those scripts operate without reference to Company systems and may be run offline.
The scripts, together with the derivation applied by each GrowBit Original, are published at:
https://growbit.net/fairness/implementation7.2.
The Company provides in-product access to the values required for verification, namely:
7.2.1. a per-bet Provably Fair display, accessible from a Player's bet history, showing the commitment, the client seed, the nonce where applicable, the derivation version, and the server seed once disclosed;
7.2.2. a seed management page, at https://growbit.net/fairness/seeds, from which a Player may view the current commitment for each game, set or replace a client seed, rotate a seed generation, obtain commitment receipts, and review previously disclosed generations; and
7.2.3. a plain-language overview of the fairness framework, at https://growbit.net/fairness.
7.3.
The public key against which a commitment receipt may be verified is published without authentication and does not require an Account.
7.4.
Verification under this section applies to GrowBit Original games only. Third-party casino games are outside this mechanism, as set out in section 4.2.
7.5.
Official mirror domains may provide access to the same or equivalent fairness tools.
Use of a mirror domain does not change the fairness rules, verification process, game logic, account rules, or applicability of this Policy.
8. SYSTEM ACCURACY AND RELIABILITY
8.1.
The Company’s systems are designed to:
8.1.1. Accurately record bets, wagers, game rounds, and game outcomes;
8.1.2. Correctly calculate wins, losses, balances, rewards, bonuses, and account ledger entries;
8.1.3. Reliably process supported deposits, withdrawals, and redemptions; and
8.1.4. Preserve relevant audit logs and technical records needed to review disputed or abnormal game outcomes.
8.2.
In the event of a system malfunction, affected bets or outcomes will be investigated and corrected in a fair and transparent manner in accordance with applicable rules, the Terms and Conditions, and internal technical records.
8.3.
Where a malfunction, exploit, display error, balance error, pricing error, odds error, multiplier error, currency conversion error, or settlement error occurs, the Company reserves the right to void, reverse, correct, or resettle affected transactions, wagers, or game rounds in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
9. CHANGE MANAGEMENT
9.1.
Any changes affecting system fairness are subject to:
9.1.1. Risk assessment;
9.1.2. Testing in a non-production or controlled environment where reasonably practicable;
9.1.3. Technical review prior to deployment; and
9.1.4. Access-control review where the change affects game logic, RNG, provably fair systems, RTP, or payout calculations.
9.2.
Material changes impacting fairness are documented and, where appropriate, communicated to Players.
9.3.
The Company does not retroactively alter game outcomes except where necessary to correct a technical malfunction, exploit, settlement error, provider error, or other issue addressed under the Terms and Conditions.
10. MONITORING AND AUDITING
10.1.
The Company conducts ongoing monitoring of games available on the Website to identify unusual outcome patterns, system bias, anomalies, exploit attempts, provider errors, or player-impacting errors.
10.2.
Internal reviews may be performed periodically. In addition, the Company may rely on third-party game providers to conduct reviews of their RNG-based games to detect and eliminate irregular patterns, bias, anomalies, or player-impacting errors.
10.3.
Independent audits, certifications, technical reviews, or external assessments may be obtained where required by Costa Rican law, regulators, infrastructure providers, business partners, third-party providers, or internal risk assessment.
10.4.
Records are retained in accordance with applicable Costa Rican legislation, the Privacy Policy, AML/KYC requirements, and internal record-keeping policies.
11. INCIDENTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
11.1.
The Company’s systems include automated and manual mechanisms to detect, log, and monitor incidents.
11.2.
All incidents are categorized based on severity, player impact, fairness impact, operational risk, and potential financial exposure.
11.3.
Each logged incident is reviewed, assessed, and assigned to the appropriate technical, operational, compliance, or support personnel. Critical incidents may be escalated without delay.
11.4.
The Company aims to ensure consistent, impartial, and timely resolution of incidents and disputes.
11.5.
All incidents, disputes, and corrective actions may be logged and retained for compliance, audit, security, fraud-prevention, AML/KYC, and regulatory purposes.
11.6.
Players who believe that a game outcome, balance update, wager settlement, withdrawal, redemption, or account ledger result was incorrect may contact support with relevant details, including account email, game, round ID, timestamp, bet amount, currency, screenshots, and any available verification data.
12. MIRROR DOMAINS
growbit.net is the primary domain of the Website.
Any other domains designated by the Company may operate as official mirror domains for redundancy, accessibility, continuity of service, or regional availability.
The same fairness rules, game configurations, Terms and Conditions, Policies, account rules, AML/KYC controls, dispute procedures, and enforcement rights apply regardless of which official domain is used.
Users should ensure that they access only official GrowBit domains. The Company is not responsible for phishing websites, impersonation domains, fake support accounts, malicious links, wallet-draining websites, or third-party websites falsely claiming to be associated with GrowBit.
